Training and Placement department of Dr. C. V. Raman University is stand on a four Pillar :

The most significant resource of any civilized society is its trained and skilled manpower. In the contemporary competitive world, education is not just a mode of transmitting knowledge but equipping the students with the contemporary professional skills and ability to take up the global challenges for contributing the society to a greater extent as well as fulfilling their career aspirations. Our University Training and Placement Department was constituted in the Academic Session 2010-11. Since its inception, the Training n placement Department is helping the students to identify the organizations for training and placement of students from various Faculties running under University’s Curriculum. Apart from that, Campus Interviews are organized to provide opportunity to the students to showcase their talent and to facilitate them to be placed in various reputed organizations across India. The Placement Department is dedicated to support the students in their pursuit to get jobs in the esteemed Companies. In addition to these specialized lectures, one on one interaction with different Organizations Experts and representatives, workshops and Industrial visits are organized to provide students different platforms to attain their respective heights.

Vision: The Training and Placement Department of Dr. C. V. Raman University is committed to provide all possible assistance to its graduates and P.G. students in their efforts to find the best possible employment for making their career. The training and placement service operates year round to help contacts between Companies and the students of our University. Proper guidance has given to the students that may include advice on placement procedure by helping them to understand the right way to present themselves at the time of interview by making perfect Resume format and by practicing them for facing G.D. and P.I. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search. All advices are based on up-to-date placement statistics and an envisioned view of future and educational and industrial trends. Every efforts is commenced to create opportunities for our students to get placements in a reputed firms. We trying our level best to reach maximum placement level in the year to come. The Placement Department publicizes information about employment opportunity and makes information available about higher education in PAN (India) and Abroad. Placement talks are arranged and facilities are provided for Campus interviews. A large number of students have been able to secure good jobs through the placement in some of the reputed multinational companies. Government agencies etc. The ultimate vision of the Department is to make every students of Our University, a successful career by helping them become global leaders who can manage and lead change across diverse organizations.

Objective: The main objective of the training and placement Department of Dr. C. V. Raman University is to strive to help and guide students deserve placements through state-of-the-art technology, innovation, leadership and partnerships. Supreme weight is laid on providing the most modern and sophisticated learning atmosphere coupled with Indian heritage and our customs. The teaching methodology is up to date which keeps the students abreast with the ever-changing scenario in the educational arena along with a fine blend of traditional Indian ethic and value systems. The academic and cultural activity at Dr. C. V. Raman University provides a podium where all students come together and explore the individual and group talents and by skilling themselves through different field practices. The faculty and management possess a high degree of uprightness and knowledge that tosses the students into efficient and effective human beings. The University provides guidance and support for graduating students to build their future through its component units. Particularly the Post graduate’s faculties of University are organized to assist passing out students in seeking employment opportunity. The industry too recognizes that the University students have suitable inputs to make them better professionals to make their career in the Industrial sectors. The University through its constituents also has frequent interaction with reputed national and multinational companies that visit the campuses for recruiting the students of different streams.

Our Goals The Goals of Universities training and Placement Department is to provide employment opportunities & World class training and Industrial exposure to the students of different faculties.

Training: In any stream students (Graduate/Poly/P.G.) those who have summer training in their curriculum has to undergo a mandatory semester long internship in leading organizations as a part of their curriculum. This enables them to get exposure in tackling live cases and problems that occur in the working of an individual entity. These internships, along with various industrial visits keep the students informed about latest industrial trends. The duration of summer internships is minimum 21 days up to maximum 45 days for each and every student for both Graduation and Post-Graduation discipline.
