. What is the Admission Process of IODE, CVRU?
IODE, CVRU Admissions shall be granted as per rules of the university and mentioned
in the prospectus. To get admission in any program learners should have the minimum
qualification for particular programmes as per defined by the university
. Can I apply online for all the programmes offered by CVRU?
Yes you get enrolled through online registration, for all kind of programmes; please visit
www.cvru.ac.in/iode.
. What is the mode of payment of fees?
The mode of fee payment is available in every possible manner like demand draft, online
payment, cash and payment through cards
. From where can I get the information about the programmes fees structure and eligibility criteria?
The fee structure of each and every programme has been explained in prospectus and
learners can get their prospectus by university, it is also available online at university’s
website
. Do I need to purchase textbooks?
No you do not need to purchase textbooks; SLM (Self Learning Material) will be
dispatched to your contact address
. Are the original documents to be dispatched to the university at the time of admission?
Self attested copies of essential documents are required and should be dispatched to the
university at the time of admission.
. Can I get Laboratory for practicals?
Yes you will be provided the facilities of laboratory.
. Can I access the reference library?
Yes you can access the reference library.
. Is contact class compulsory for term end exam?
Yes it is necessary to have atleast 75% of attendance in contact classes
. Can I get enrolled in two programmes in a single session?
No, you can only get admitted in a single programme in a session.
. Am I required to visit campus for various information related to my programme?
No, you do not need to visit for information it is available online and can be
acknowledged by information centers of CVRU.
. What is the detailed process for submission of online admission form?
The detailed process of filling online admission form is available on the university’s website and in the prospectus
. Where will I get the assignments question?
Learners can find their assignments question in university’s website (www.cvru.ac.in/iode) and university’s LSD (Learners Support Division); it will also sent by email into the learners email ID
. What are the minimum pass marks for assignments?
30% of the total marks are the passing marks for assignment
. What is the programme schedule?
The detailed schedule of programme is available in academic calendar at university’s website as well as in the LSD (Learners Support Division).
. What is the evaluation methods used for the programme?
The system of evaluation in open and distance learning system has a multi-tier system of evaluation.
- Self-assessment exercise within each unit of study.
- Continuous evaluation mainly through assignments which are tutor-marked practical assignments and seminar/workshop/extended.
- The term-end examinations.
- Project work.
The weight age for Term End Examination will be 70% and weight age for Internal
Assessment will be 30 % for this programme.
. Where will the end term examination conducted and when it will happen?
The exam will conduct at the university campus and authorized exam centers by university and it will take place as per defined in academic calendar.
