Dr. C. V. Raman University has been awarded with World Education Award for Online Education in Distance Learning and as the first university to have community Radio Station. The then Registrar Shri Shailesh Pandey received the award at New Delhi on behalf of the university on 8th August 2014.
For the Excellence in the Higher & Technical Education, CVRU has been awarded by Chhattisgarh Achievers Award 2014, Best University of the year trophy by “SADHNA NEWS CHANNEL” for the second consecutive year. The award was given the hands of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh. CVRU was adjudged best after their survey of all educational Institutes in CG.
CVRU has been felicitated by Govt. of India on 14th October 2014 for the Pioneering Initiative of accepting NIELIT Qualifiers for Higher Courses. On behalf of CVRU, Registrar Mr. Shailesh Pandey received the award by the hands of Union Information Minister Mr. Ravishankar Prasad during the National Seminar held in Delhi. CVRU is the First University to be awarded such an award in the entire Country.
