It gives me great pleasure in introducing Dr. C.V Raman University to you. Dr.C.V.Raman, the first Nobel Laureate of India in science has observed that "The growth of a country is in the Hearts and Minds of young men and women of the country."

One of the premier Universities of India, Dr. C.V.Raman University constantly strives to be known for creating high caliber Engineers, M.B.As, Commerce Graduates, Educationists, Sportsman and IT Professionals. The emphasis has always been holistic development and we encourage our students to actively participate in Sports and other extra and co-curricular activities at State and National Levels.

The University also aims at becoming a multi disciplined, teacher- learner oriented institute in close association with industry, following Research and Development activities in the Campus.

The University has also started contributing to the fulfilment of the overall development goals of the State. The University organized a Career Guidance session at Bilaspur, Raipur and other places for guiding and counseling students towards making the right choices while planning their career.

Stepping into the new academic year I am confident the University will be able to meet its goals under the visionary guidance of the Chancellor Shri Santosh Choubey and the efforts of our dynamic Registrar Shri Shailesh Pandey. The dream cannot be met without the untiring efforts of the University's administrative and academic staff.
