Governing Body
The Governing Body is the executive committee of the Dr. C.V. Raman University. The board meets at regular intervals to resolve various issues pertinent to the general functioning of the institute. The body is also responsible for the final administrative decisions. It comprises of 10 members with some permanent and the remaining elected on a term basis. The Governing Body decides and lays down the Rules and Regulations for various functional blocks of the institution and also drafts a meticulously planned agenda sheet for the following academic year.

Board of Management
The Board of Management of the Dr. C.V. Raman University is responsible for complete planning and execution of educational activities, course change implementation and formation or devolution of various other committees for the academic year. The body comprises of 10 members, chaired by the Vice Chancellor with a team of other department heads and state government nominees. The board ensures the smooth functioning of the administrative body of the institute.

Finance Committee
The Dr. C.V. Raman University employs a Financial Committee as a means for various economic and financial allotments throughout the academic year. The committee acts as an advisor to the Board of Directors and facilitates economic solutions in terms of fund allocation to other bodies of the institution. The committee also delegates much of its ongoing work related to cost control and effectiveness to its members. The body holds meetings at a regular interval to resolve issues regarding the management of the institution.

Academic Council
The Academic Council is the principle academic authority of the institution chaired by the Vice Chancellor. It typically comprises of around 18 members. It is responsible for formulating, regulating and maintaining the standards of teaching, assistantship, research, extensions, training and examination in the University. The Academic Council is accountable for academic policies in regard to maintenance and improvement in the standard and quality of learning in the University and also in assessing the work-load of faculty and respective heads of the departments.
