C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur is located in Chhattisgarh and is one of the best universities there. It was established by the All India Society for Electronics and Technology (AISECT). It is named after India’s first nobel laureate, Dr. C.V. Raman. The university is a private university and has several courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate levels. They also provide skill based education and are one of the first universities to do so. CVRU Bilaspur is considered one of the premium institutions in India. It is recognized by Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. AICTE, NCTE, and BCI.

The university provides students courses in the following faculties:

Both distance learning and regular courses are offered in CVRU Bilaspur. The faculty comprises teachers who are experienced and are scholars in their respective fields. The faculty regularly conducts workshops, seminars and other educational initiatives in order to provide students with practical knowledge along with the theoretical and also to ensure that students get the latest knowledge in the stream of their choice.

The faculty also provides students with theoretical knowledge from textbooks and from lectures and also through practical training. We also ensure that students who are unable to grasp concepts as fast as other students are given all the attention they need. Remedial classes are held after the regular classes for all such students who have any doubts that they may need cleared. Everyone is allowed to attend these classes.

CVRU Bihar provides students with a large number of courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate levels. Courses are also offered in distance learning format. Students can take admission into both technical and non technical courses. For technical courses, admission is based strictly on merit and on how the student scores in AJEE examinations, while admission to non technical courses is on a first come first serve basis.
