BCA is a graduation degree course of 3 years duration. The course curriculum focuses on fundamentals of computer science, programming languages and software programming used in various applications to support technology-driven sectors. The basic subjects of BCA are database management, operating system, software engineering, computer architecture, web technology, programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, HTML.

PGDCA or Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Application is one-year diploma course aims to provide fundamental knowledge of computer science. This course serves as a foundation to start a career as computer operator in financial, healthcare, media industry and etc. CVRU Department of Computer Science offers PGDCA course that covers technical, core concepts and practical know how about computer applications used in various sectors either to resolve technical issues or to complete certain tasks. PGDCA course is designed to study fundamentals of computer science and its applications such as data processing, programming languages, operating system, visual basics, oracle, web designing, and Computer Architecture.
